tigriswolfSo, I have a paper to write for my syntax class and I was wondering if any of y'all would be willing to fill out a worksheet for me.
I want to write about the word 'say' and all its variations (like 'shout' and 'mumble' and a lot more), so I'm going to make a worksheet with a shitload of sentences. Something like,
1. "Oh, do be quiet," she said.
2. "Oh, do be quiet," she whispered.
3. "Oh, do be quiet," she shouted.
What I would need from y'all is for y'all to write what each sentence means to you and how it compares to the rest (like, the difference between whispered & shouted, you know?). I wouldn't need your real names, but I do need your age and first language, whether or not it's English.
The paper is due May 8, but I haven't made the worksheet yet. (I just got the idea today, and I'm way more excited for it than any other idea I've had for the this paper.)
So... do this sound like something anyone would be interested for doing for me?
