So, I've been dealing with various RL things and my will to write has suffered for it. What I'd like now are prompts.

Particularly, AU prompts, where a canon event never happened. For example: BtVS, Xander never told The Lie.

Chuck/Inception/RED, Chuck + Arthur + Frank, Bryce isn't killed by the Ring but captured; his father and brother find out and enlist the help of Chuck (who they find to be shockingly capable despite appearances)to go in and get him

Hmmm, AU prompt: stuff doesn't happen?

Avengers/Thor: Loki doesn't meet the Other after falling (but still finds a good life for himself?); it's not Loki who falls, but Thor (again), this time leaving Mjolnir in Asgard.

Bones: Zack doesn't have an accident that injures his hands; one (either Brennan or Hodgins) doesn't survive being buried alive in a car; Angela doesn't break up with Roxie (the canon 'differences' thing doesn't happen)

Chuck: Chuck isn't attracted to Sarah Walker at all (not his 'type' is what he thinks is the reason) - Casey however is someone Chuck finds attractive, very much so (unlikely romance happens, eventually, and not just because someone has to be Chuck's 'other half')
The scene where Bryce is shot: in this AU, Chuck is (fatal or not, writer's choice)

Criminal Minds: Elle recovers and doesn't leave; it's JJ who gets kidnapped by Hankel, not Reid; Reid ends up falling for Will (though Ethan still gives the final push for him to give up drugs, maybe?); Garcia's shooting injuries are more serious

CSI: Greg ends up with more injuries than just burns in that lab explosion; Nick isn't rescued successfully (death/permanent injury); Gil never develops hearing loss but some other hereditary-yet-fixable one instead; Warrick is prepared cleverly and doesn't die

Leverage: Hardison and Parker don't end up together - Hardison and Eliot do, with some funny results; Nate and Sophie's romance is never hidden though never exactly announced

NCIS: Kate doesn't die on that roof (might be Tony instead, or Ari chooses a later moment); Gibbs doesn't come back from Mexico (so Tony leads the team from then on); Tony doesn't open the plague letter, but someone else in the team; Ziva wounds Ari instead of killing him

Supernatural: Sam doesn't find the information about the preacher in "Faith"; in "Mystery Spot", it's Dean who's cursed to live the same day again and again, not Sam

Okay, for Bones, I've only seen Sweets' episodes. Chuck, I've only seen Bryce's. Criminal Minds, I quit watching somewhere around season 4? CSI, I've only ever seen episodes that my actor-of-the-moment appeared in.

Angel/Buffy - Angel never got his soul back after Season 2.

Angel/Buffy - Willow and Xander are never found by Oz and Cordelia in 'Lover's Walk'.

Blood Ties - Vicki never gets her degenerative eye disease.

Firefly/Serenity - The Miranda experiment never happened.

Harry Potter - Harry and Hermione never became friends.

Roswell - Isabel never discovered Vilandra's betrayal.

Roswell - Nacedo never went back for the pods.

Teen Wolf - The Hale house-fire never happened.

Okay, Blood Ties, Firefly, and Roswell are too far removed from my mind, but the others shall be pondered.

Harry Potter - Sirius doesn't go after Peter when James and Lily are killed; Severus never calls Lily a mudblood; Harry doesn't rescue Ginny in time; Hermione is sorted into Slytherin.

Avengers - Natasha doesn't free Clint from Loki's grip

Thor - Sif and/or the Warriors Three obey Loki and don't try to bring Thor back to Asgard

So, um, hey. Do you remember that 'verse where Arthur&Eames raise Harry Potter?

I've gotten inspiration for it again, and I just sorta poured a tiny little snippet of when they adopt him. And I kinda wanna go in and do the whole backstory for how Arthur finds him, and how they raise him, and, actually, how Eames breaks Sirius Black out of Azkaban and Eddie has a ginormous black dog for awhile.

And I've decided for sure that the story, when&if I ever post it, should definitely start on the Hogwarts Express, with the MacDougal twins, so I'm going to back in and rework those scenes.

(I've been reading a lot of Harry Potter fic lately, and finally added more to the Merlin reincarnation fic, too.)

Anyway. Are you willing to look at the snippet? I figure it'll be an interlude, or a flashback, or I may even fill in all the broadstrokes with the backstory, I don't know.
