Congrats to your mom! I'm in the same field here, but right at the beginning of my career. I'll hopefully be getting my engineering accreditation in May.
I have been working in Texas for the last 12 years, but spent the first 4 years of my career, and went to college, in LA. I will never forget my first mother-in-law asking me if I planned to work after I graduated, or stay home and raise children. Why would I be going to school to be an engineer if I didn't plan to work as one? smh
