Hurricane Patricia, WHAT THE FUCK. I didn't even hear about it until today! It went from a tropical storm to CATEGORY FOUR in a SINGLE DAY?! It only fucking formed on fucking TUESDAY?! It broke the fucking scale and is actually a goddamned CATEGORY SIX?!?! What the fucking goddamned fuck?

We're forecasted to have rain for like the next week, and you only start evac at 72 hours to landfall. It already made landfall and was formed on fucking TUESDAY.

WHAT THE FUCK.

To everyone on the coast in Mexico, oh my fucking god. I'm hoping as hard as I can.

Are you in its path? I thought you were in an inland state?

I only started hearing about it today. I have the Weather Channel on as default background noise most days and the slightest hint of a major storm anywhere in the world has hourly segments, but nothing, which is astounding. It's really quite freaky how fast this one turned up and worsened, they're saying it's already broken all the records for a weather pattern ever. I can believe that they'd need to expand the hurricane category system for it.

I really hope this doesn't become the horrific disaster it appears to be aiming to be for Mexico and anywhere else it hits. Stay warm and safe! *worries*

The speed and intensity of the storm development is incredibly alarming even from outside the region. It sounds like some kind of disaster movie plot point that all the critics would nitpick as being unrealistic, but there it is.

*hugs you tight* Be safe, stay dry.

While it's a horrible situation, I'm kinda fascinated with this system. It's massive, probably the largest hurricane ever, well-formed, moving incredibly fast, and it formed so quickly. It doesn't help that there is another system behind it that is fueling Patricia. The science nerd in me is geeking out.

I'm in Louisiana as well, about 80 miles west of Baton Rouge. We've already been warned to prepare for flooding and tropical storm winds from tonight through Monday night. Stay safe in this crazy weather!
