Hot Fuzz

So, did y'all know that Hot Fuzz has like a million commentaries? Because I did not know that until today, and that's what I've watched for basically the whole day. (There were a couple hours where I availed myself of my parents' DVR for Chopped Junior.)

This is a thing I really should know considering how many times I've watched that movie, but for some reason did not. Are they only on the blu-ray release?

I don't know; I have the DVD/bluray combo pack. But it's commentary with the writer/director + Simon Pegg, two sets of actors, real police officers, and the writer director + Quentin Tarantino.

I'll have to get out my DVD and poke through it again. I thought I'd gone down every rabbit hole it had, but perhaps not.

So, Danny Butterman is a Hufflepuff, yes? But is Nicholas Angel a Ravenclaw? Or also a Hufflepuff?

Danny I think is a definite Hufflepuff. He was only going along with the NWA because of his dad, and as soon as he realized how dark it really was he turned against it.

Nicholas. Hm. Very rule-following, very procedures, very do what's right. I always see Ravenclaw as more sciencey, which could manifest as rule-following for the science of policing? He's big on do what's right, but not glory-seeking. He put the job ahead of his relationship with his girlfriend, which makes me think not Hufflepuff. He's very much a puzzle solver.... Yeah, Ravenclaw. Maybe with a tiiiiny hint of Gryffindor for the 'do what's right at any cost' and tendency to heroics, but not remotely enough for a hat stall.

But, as I say, I am bad at this.
