I'm watching The Walking Dead for the first time as research for a thing I need to write, and oh my god, Daryl Dixon is AWESOME. He's my favorite, and then Glenne, and wow, Bella from Supernatural is cool in this, and I keep researching to find out what happens to characters (HOLY SHIT), and this IS NOT a show I should be watching by myself.

That is an awesome, awesome show. I started watching at season 3 and haven't stopped watching since. And yes, Bela is GREAT. And there'll be another SPN actor in season 6. You've probably read about it?

My cousin (who is a MAJOR fan) showed me a pic of Papa Winchester and the Rick Grimes guy, and told me he played a very bad man.

Is it that people farming plotline? I found out about in a Walking Dead for another fandom.

They farmed in season 3, yes.

JDM appeared in the final episode of season 6. I don't know if I could bear seeing him as the bad guy in season 7.

I love that show; have since the start. But I've also always stayed a little bit behind and checked spoilers before watching each episode. And currently, I'm stranded halfway back in Season 6; I'm not touching it again until I know how the cliffhanger resolves. Daryl + Rick + Michonne (starting season 3), if any of them are out, I'm gone. But Glen + Maggie are like the most functional people out there; they're pretty awesome too.

I'm halfway through season 2. I have to know ahead of time if characters I like die, so I'm already angry about a few deaths.

I watched the first series because Andy Lincoln is AMAZING and super talented and deserves all the best things (I came across him during my adoration-of-Jack-Davenport years and continue to love him) but the mother refused to watch/have it on her television after the first series ended :(

Defo not for watching alone, but a very cool show.

I have one disk left of season 2 and I keep spoiling myself because I hate when the ones I like die (and there are only 3 people I am pretty sure won't be killed until at least the final season, whenever that is).

What about season 1 had her forbid it? It's positively tame compared to what comes later.

She just hates the whole zombie apocalypse concept generally *sigh*

I feel like trying to pick it up at this point would just be useless, I've missed way too much content.
