In the last month or so, I've had several very realistic, vivid dreams. The kind where I'm pretty sure whatever it was happened in the Awake World but never actually did. So I'll think I've done something or had a conversation, but it never happened.

Which is very confusing.

Like, I remember having a conversation with Mom about something and coming to a decision about whatever the conversation was about, but I can't remember what the decision was. According to Mom, that conversation never took place.

So, that's awesome.

I get a run of dreams like that every couple of years. Also premonition dreams (although yet to have a lottery related premonition :P).

You mean just dreams about the future, or ones that actually come true?

I mean like actual snippets of things that haven't happened yet - sounds, smells, people, feelings, all sorts of little details that I wouldn't otherwise pay much attention to. I only realise that I've experienced the dream event after I get a sense of Déja Vu and I realise that it was the snippet from my dream. It usually happens six weeks before the real life event.

Dude! I very rarely remember my dreams, but fairly often, I'll get the sense that I've experienced whatever I'm experiencing before. It's always a little creepy.

It's so disconcerting, until you get used to it (but even then... sometimes a bit)

I think I prefer the totally fantastical to the realistic dreams.
At least then, I'm not confused about reality.

*nods* This is pretty much par for the course for me. I remember the ones that never happen, and never remember the ones that do. (One of these days, I'll teach my mother to make sure I'm awake before having a conversation with me....)
