Between the fires and this hurricane, I'm worried about a lot of us. It's true the hurricane went down to a Cat 1, but how many times did Ivan and Katrina both drop down, go back out to the ocean, and gather more strength? Here's praying for us all. <3
My relatives are in Corpus Christi, and Taft, and thankfully they're all okay. Several of them moved further inland. (I'm not sure where they are staying right now.)
Power is already back on in CC.
But yeah, it built up power pretty danged quickly, and Rockport got hit hard.
