So, there's this show I've discovered, the American "Queer as Folk."  I really really like it.  I can't decide if I want Brian and Michael or Brian and Justin to end up together.  Or maybe Michael and Justin can forget about Brian and ride off into the sunset together.  I dunno.

I've been writing snippets of my Dean canon recently.  As in, the story of how Dean meets Maria, how he discovers megalodons, the first time a teacher asks about his bruises.  That sort of thing.  Right now, I'm working on the how-he-lost-his-virginity one, though I shan't be writing the sex scene itself.

Another idea!  Modern-day Mag7 AU.  Buck runs into the Winchesters somewhere and hits on Sam.  Dean gets jealous and cuts in.  Then all three of them do it.

I've been dreamy about certain types of fic for qaf, which I haven't found yet, which basically focuses on the Brian/Justin with Michael after certain events, as well as fics that focus on one of Ted's storylines.

*sigh* wish I could go into more detail, but if you're only at the beginning of S1, I don't want to spoil you. (Unlike me - when I noticed qaf for the first time, I read through the episode guide for the whole series and then started watching certain episodes chosen from all the seasons)

No, I'm at ep 3 of season 2!

The Prom! I have picked out certain scenes from various shows as the coolest, most romantic, you know?

The CuteSammyDean/StupidRory kiss at the end of season 1 "Gilmore Girls" is one, Jason/Lana in the church at the beginning of "Smallville" season 4 is another, and now?

The Brian/Justin dancing at the prom is at the top of the list.

Eee! They were so cute! Even my lilsis(who I insisted on showing the scene to, though she doesn't like slash) agrees!

I know! Brian - for a guy who doesn't believe in love and niceties, he has a lot of cute, 'aww' scenes, whether with Justin, Michael or even Debbie. (and some of the baby scenes - gah!)

That prom scene - it was just so much more powerful because of what happened after. Such a sharp contrast in a short amount of time.

Smack me if you want to stop talking about this (qaf), because seriously, I can go on and on...

Brian/Justin all the way! I've decided they're my second favorite couple ever. (First being... Dean and Sam.)

I like the prom scene, and the scene when Justin dances with those two guys and Brian cuts in, and the scene where Justin confronts Chris Hobbes on the street and Brian just looms beside him, and the prom scene, and when Justin lays down the rules and Brian follows them, and the prom scene.

Did I mention the prom scene?

At the mo, I'm watching 1x04, after watching 2x06 (yes I know, I am watching eps in a real wierd sequence)

It's a shame Dean/Sam can never be cannon (quickly ducks as fangirls start to throw pointy things at me) I'm sorry I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm talking about. Of course Sam/Dean is real...

Eek! what did you say above??? You don't like Mikey any more??? Nooo!!! But I kinda see you point, because I've watched a bit more of the earlier seasons now and I felt that Michael was being a bit spoilt and seemed to spitefully set out to destroy B/J relationship.

However, because I watched some of the later episodes, there were some really good ones of him. I think he's a really good actor.

At the mo, I seem to have a juvenile delight in that Dildo Duel Michael & Emmett had early in S1.

I liked Michael until he got with David. And then he just... changed.

Anyhoo... Brian and Justin. I wanna watch the prom scene over and over and over...

I've only watched a few episodes with David, but I find him creepy. He's so controlling. Ben is much much better.

(But having wierd controlling David made me think of possibilities for good angst fic).

I watched a clip of the prom scene before I watched the episode, but once I watched it fully, I just can't seem to bring myself to watch it again - the following scene just forevers taints the prom for me.

I liked David at first, but then... I don't know. I just _didn't_ anymore. Even though, he's really no worse than Brian, on the manipluative front, you know?

Ooo thanks. I've foound Midnight Whispers site and have started to slowly read through some fic.

I didn't try out the 2nd one because I'm not sure if I want to read QAF that's solely focused on 1 pairing. But I'm sure I'll head that way once I'm finished with Midnight Whispers.
