Please pick your favorite of the following possible summaries for “sunshine turns the sky to gold,” my 11000+ word AU werewolfDean story, which is now complete.

 

A) In the fall of 1987, John Winchester was scattered on the forest floor by a pack of werewolves.

 

B) John Winchester dies in the fall of 1987, Sam’s taken in by a pair of hikers, and Dean… well, Dean vanishes into the woods.

 

C) In the fall of 1987, John Winchester is torn to pieces by a pack of werewolves. One of his sons is found and loved; the other vanishes into the night, not seen by anybody but a sadistic hunter for nigh-on twenty years.

 

D) “Your father was found, baby,” Aunt Missouri said softly, handing him a mug of hot chocolate. “In pieces, spread out on the forest floor. You were passed out in the car. No trace of your brother. The official explanation was your father came across a wolf pack with pups.”

 

E) In the fall of 1987, John Winchester is torn to pieces by a pack of werewolves, leaving his two young sons in the hands of Fate.
