Not that others haven't gone there before you. Well, not *specifically* there, perhaps... but who knows? It's not like I've been trolling the internet for R-rated Disney fic. (I've come across a surprisingly awful lot of it my happenstance, though.)
I know Tantalus is a myth. I just tossed it in there for fun. Ah, so it was a case of dark, darker, darkest? (or is that angst, angstier, angst-iest?)
I'm fairly certain it'd end end up being incest. And possibly a death fic. Uh-huh. Why should I have expected anything else?
Are you pairing Marie up with one of her brothers, or is this going to be slash-incest and Marie will be forced to turn to inter-species romance with Rochefort?
No wonder people thing fans and especially fanfic is whack.
(Of course, this path too, has been trod before. I remember way early in my internet experience, encountering summaries for novel-length R-rated Lion King fanfic involving non-con and incest.
And just a week or two ago I found out that there are more than a HUNDRED stories over at The Pit based on Watership Down.)
