At the moment, I have no desire to read or write "Supernatural" fic.  Or check my friends' list.  All I wanna do is read Star Trek and "Heroes" fic, and rewatch the Sylar scenes of "Heroes".  I haven't even given the Asylum reports more than a cursory glance. *shrugs*

I dunno.  Maybe I should rewatch a few of the old eps or something.  I do have two fics finished but untyped. I don't feel like typing, either, though.

Any ideas on how to reignite the "Supernatural" fires?

Also, I worked an eight-hour shift yesterday.  I could barely walk afterwards.  *winces*  Jobs suck.

fwiw, I find myself in the same boat (sans the Heroes fic reading, I should get to that though), so, no biggie, love. Enjoy your summer and it's (probable) flings!

Take a break you deserve it. To reiginite your fire you could read Misha's tweets on twitter. He really is ridiculous and funny. Or... listen to rock music, watch PWT, watch bonus features on the dvds.
You'll find it again.

You know. I think fandom can really burn you out. I try to stay out of anything but the fanfiction, because I think a lot of the other stuff leads to the drama that burns you out. But I've found that that is one of the problems with journal ficcing. When I used to just read from the archives, I could stay away from fandom. On the journals, I've enjoyed the interaction, but I've found that sometimes, I just get so tired of it all. I always think I have found the fandom I will love forever, but eventually I just get enough of it. And it seems like the other stuff makes the time come quicker.

Ooh, me too. Except not Heroes because I haven't really gotten into Heroes. But the other stuff: yeah.

(I've got nothing to help with Supernatural, though. I still haven't watched the last season.)

People move in and out of fandoms. I'd say don't worry about dealing with Supernatural right now. Focus on what you're passionate about at the moment. Either you'll come back to Supernatural later or you won't. Maybe you'll start writing ST fics instead.

But keep the untyped SPN fics in a safe place. Sometimes when you are completley blocked as a writer, typing up fics that are already written gives you a boost. Especially if they're fics you haven't read for a long time. Sometimes you even impress yourself!

I wouldn't bother. I'd just enjoy going crazy in love with a new fandom.

Meh, I haven't splashed around SPN in awhile either, but I still love it. Just splash around in the fandom's your digging right now.

All *I* want to do is read (good) Star Trek, so I can't help you there. :D

It's fascinating to consider the subtle differences and changes that a new timeline would create. I hope they do some more movies, but don't plunge into the "Kirk-Spock=bestest friends EVEH" thing right away...these guys are not *those* guys, after all. And Star Trek was originally *supposed* to be about much more than them!
