tigriswolf: (dangerous)

Where are all the fics?  I want some!

Dude, this movie was awesome.  [livejournal.com profile] tigremere says she can finally admit Tom Hardy might be good looking.

Also!  The other day, I found a fic for This Means War, but I hadn't seen the movie, so I figured I'd go back after watching, and now that I'm looking?  Can't find it.  I'm pretty sure I saw it on a LJ after I read an Inception, so I went back in my Inception friends' list all the way to Feb 13, because the date on the fic was the 15th.  :(

update!

tigriswolf: (God-as-a-Cat)

1. In This Means War, why don’t they just both break it off when they realize she’s been cheating on each of them with the other?  I’ll still see it, of course.

2. So, I pretty much always hate Will Schuester.  That’s a given.  So maybe I’m just a little sensitive to his douchenozzelness, but it really bothered me when he used the ‘how can we ever have kids with all their germs’ card on Emma.  Why do they have to have kids?

3. I joined a temp agency in December.  I spent all of last week on my feet, as a cashier at a college bookstore.  It was actually kind of fun, except for my aching feet.

4. I’ve been reading a lot of Harry Potter fic lately.  They’ve all kind of run together.  Of course, this led to a continuous story in my head about Eames&Arthur rescuing Harry from the pedophile ring Vernon sold him to and adopting him.  They rename him Eddie Colmes; Eames is always a wizard, in all the variations, but Arthur is sometimes a muggle.  In the most recent version, he was actually Grindlewalde reincarnated.  Eames is also occasionally Merlin. *shrugs*  Eddie doesn’t remember his life as Harry, and at first, Eames doesn’t realize who the boy Arthur saved is.  But he gets a letter as Edward Colmes, is sorted into Slytherin (Ravenclaw was a close second), and turns Hogwarts on its head.  There’ve been a few different versions.  *hee*  Eddie calls Arthur 'Da' and Eames ' Dad,' and he really impresses people with how badass they are.

5. I haven’t added anything to the Klaine Princess Diaries fic in a week.  I’m really unhappy with the last part and haven’t wanted to look at it. *sigh*

6. I’d almost lost interest in Revenge until I watched the last two episodes back-to-back.  Dude, it’s awesome.

7. Also, I’ve been doing various Glee AUs in my head, but they always start the same way:  all the McKinley students are taken hostage and for some reason (it varies), the gunmen want Kurt Hummel.  Sometimes it’s because his mom is Loki, or she was the beloved daughter of an international criminal, or she was an alien (so, kinda like Loki?).  Anyway.  It’s fun.

tigriswolf: (CloudMonster)

1. I have a seasonal position at Macy's.  Went in to do computer-based training today.  Learned that, even though I attended orientation last week and have an employee ID number, I am not, in fact, in the system as hired.  Then, after that was straightened out, the computer I was using for the very last part of the training decided to fucking crash and burn. And throughout all this, my head hurt so much that my brain wanted to crawl out of my skull and weep.

2.  On Monday and Tuesday, I attended a grant writing course because my mom said it's something I might be good at.  While that is a possibility, being in a class-type situation again made me want to look into grad school again.

3. I watched the second disk of the SG-1 first season today (I watched the first disk awhile and didn't connect with anyone enough to want to watch the whole thing).  Through fanficton, however, I've fallen into serious like with Daniel Jackson.  And even though I've never seen a single episode of Highlander with Methos in it, because of the Highlander: Endgame film, I really want Methos and Daniel to be immortals together.  Go figure. (Also, can anyone tell me some early season 1 stories I just can't miss?)

4. I've come up with a world where Castiel is a master vampire and Jake Jensen is the first and only childe he ever turned.  Dean and Sam are young werewolf brothers and Clay is the uncle they never knew about.  Azazel, a vampire, recently teamed up with Max, a very powerful mage, and so Jensen calls up Castiel for help even though they haven't spoken in a couple hundred years.  (By the way, they're the oldest beings in existence, well over four thousand years.)  Anyway, I've written most of the fourth chapter and and about half of the fifth.  There's no masterplan or anything; it's just fun.  I don't know when it'll be posted here, though.

5. I saw Unstoppable; it's a pretty good film.  It made me want to rewatch Smokin' Aces.  And I always want to rewatch Princess Diaries 2.  *hee*

6. Does anyone else want a movie where Matthew Bomer plays an unrepentant psycopath?  ETA: Now I really really want a movie where Matthew Bomer and Jensen Ackles play psychpathic lovers on the run with Jared Padalecki as the lawman hunting them down.

7.  I read a retelling of the Pegasus myth that had Bellerophon living happily ever after with his winged horse.  Dude, that misses the entire point of the story.

Bonus #8:

The other night I dreamed that I was driving somewhere with two of the staff at the non-profit where I volunteer and I was explaining to A about Supernatural.  She eventually recognized Jared and Jensen, though she wasn't impressed with either one until I said to imagine Alec from Dark Angel ten years later.  I told her about "The Benders" and G said that he helped Missy Bender learn how to read.  So then we had a discussion about how he could help a fictional character develop her reading skills.  It was weird, dudes.
