somewhat random thoughts

1. Is there an icon out there with the words "bossy and short" across a picture of Dean?
2. Does anyone else ever open their trunk or a bathroom stall and wonder, for a split second, if they'll find a body?
3. I love "Psych".
4. This semester, I have two classes which seem like they'll be somewhat easy. The other three? Holy mother of God. *deep breaths*
5. I really need to reread what I have of my

6. Do you prefer my fluffy fics, the dark fics, or the depressing fics?
7. So, say you're a serial killer. Would you rather marry someone who isn't or is a serial killer him/herself?

Date: 2009-08-30 11:28 pm (UTC)7. Really depends on what kind of serial killer I am and what my husband is as well. Say I am one and he is as well, which is what I'd prefer, but what's stopping him from killing me? And I him?
Psych is fantastic.

I think Psych might overtake Supernatural as my favorite.

Date: 2009-08-31 08:28 pm (UTC)The theoretical situation you posed, I'd would want my partner to be a serial killer as well. But I don't necessarily want us to work together. We could team up on certain things, but I think we'd want to do are own thing separate thing and them come home to talk about what we did at the dinner table. If I was a killer, I'd have to pretend all the time outside that I was normal. I'd want to be able to not act while home.
Haha, I'm glad you'll be wondering about invisible men now.
Wow, it's a good show to take over Supernatural.

Date: 2009-08-31 03:13 am (UTC)But. My blather aside, I sort of like the idea (in fiction, of course) of two serial killers hooking up. xP

7. Is. But I'm not, so what would I know?

Date: 2009-08-31 09:00 pm (UTC)6. For some reason, dark/depressing is the easiest to write.
7. *hee*

Date: 2009-08-31 04:30 am (UTC)2. ...On reflection I hardly ever open my trunk, and rarely am in a location with bathroom stalls. Obviously I need to get out more. :-P
6. Depends on what I'm in the mood for, but your dark mytharc stuff is always fascinating, because it touches on some of the deeper themes and possibilities of the source material which the show can't do on the CW, and still adheres to the show and characters as seen, just spun out into a broader, darker view.
7. Strictly theoretically speaking, I'd pick someone entirely innocent, unaware and untainted, and I'd fight to keep them that way. If they started to be drawn into the same life, I'd find it harder to connect with them. I'd pretend to invite them into the world, make them an apprentice and then an accomplice and then dispose of them before they could betray me (or because they betrayed me by becoming like me), making sure they knew why they were being disposed of. However if they discovered my secret and tried to turn me in, I'd be hurt, but not feel betrayed, because they are only being true to their innocent untainted nature.
Interesting thought-experiment. Disturbing, but interesting. :-D

6. Oh, wow. Thank you so much!
7. That makes sense.

4. good luck then! And please keep on writing anyway :)
6. Dark and depressing, please!
7. Though question, I would say it wouldn't hurt if they were some kind of sociopaths themselves.

Date: 2009-08-31 09:04 pm (UTC)3. I think I like the John/Dean and John/Sam relationship more because there is so much we don't know.
4. I actually write more during school. I just have to find the time somewhere to type it up.
6. *thinks about what I wrote today* Yeah, not a problem.
7. Yeah, I can see that.

Date: 2009-08-31 05:10 am (UTC)2.no.
although, i'm afraid of living people in bathroom stalls/closets/behind floor-length curtains. dead people wouldn't scare me so much, unless they were undead somehow. individual zombies would be okay if they were slow and lumbering, and therefore not much of a threat to me.
3. yes.
4. good luck!
5 n/a
6. that is a trick question. clearly the answer is d: all of the above!
7. isn't. we'd probably get too competitive if we were both killers, and of course then i'd have to kill him.

3. Hell yes!
4. It goes like that sometimes, at least with the easy ones you should be able to concentrate a bit more on the tricky ones. Although I've found that sometimes, the one's you're dreading turn out to be ok!
5. Yeah, me too *sigh*
6. Personally, the fluffy ones, but that's the mood I'm in at the moment. It changes.
7. Hypothetically speaking, I think someone who isn't.

Date: 2009-08-31 09:08 pm (UTC)2. Good. It's freaky.
3. *dances the dance of joy*
4. So far... nope, I'm right to be dreading the ones I'm dreading. But here's hoping...
5. I've lost my inspiration! I was so excited for a few days, but now... *whines*
6. Moods are important to reading, yes.
7. Why?

Date: 2009-08-31 10:08 pm (UTC)7. I think most serial killers lead double lives, one where they pretend to be outwardly normal and can convince themselves that they are, and the other where they act out those fantasies or do what they believe is 'right'. If I was married to a serial killer I wouldn't have that normalcy to hide behind, and I think part of me would be wondering whether I'd wake up in the morning - I'm not good without lots of sleep :)

Date: 2009-08-31 01:47 pm (UTC)7. Hmm well purely based on historical facts people in relationships with serial killers typically didn't know so I guess that indicates a preference on their part... also I think it's estimated that there is only around 30 serial killers active in the U.S. at one time so I guess that wold make it hard to find your serial killer mate lol .... now if we're talking about my own personal preference I'd have to say someone who is, of course we'd have to be very close so I'd know he wouldn't betray me
haha I really went to town on that question ... I'm really into forensic psychology

Date: 2009-09-01 09:38 am (UTC)2. once or twice but really I think that's my over active imagination and the need to see my life as a bad movie
3. I do to, the last episode with the possession was fun
6. depends on my mood really. I do enjoy me a good fluffy flick now and again but I love dark and emotional stuff the best.
7. Personally if I was a serial killer I would want to marry another serial killer. There would definitely have to be a connection between us though so that we wouldn't kill each other, though it would most likely end that way. My original reason behind this is because I would see it as being too complicated to have a double life thing going on. Then I realized that I would still have to maintain a double life to keep from getting caught and what better way to do that then with some one that will have you back and can act as an extra set of eyes so you don't mess up and get caught. On the other hand marrying someone that is innocent and unaware of my extra curricular activities would be almost worth it if I was sadistic and in the mood to emotionally and mentally mess up someone's life. It would be a whole other story if I actually loved said person, in which case I would either try to shield them from my other life as a killer or ultimately try to sway them into participating in what I do.
...
I apologize for the length of this. It just a really awesome question, morbid but really makes you think.

3. *glee* Wasn't it awesome?
6. Sometimes, I just wanna laugh or go "Aww" and sometimes I just want to have my heart ripped out and stomped on.
7. Hmmm... you raise some good points.

Date: 2009-09-04 08:08 am (UTC)6-The dark/depressing/make you think fics all the way. And I really miss your Secrets series, ya think you'll come back to them ever?
7-I think I'd rather they not be one themself, cause then I'd be looking over my shoulder while screwing them and that'd just be uncomfortable. Plus regular people are so oblivious to what they don't want to see. I'd get a kick out of knowing how utterly appalled my dear white bread hubby would be if he ever found the bodies. :)
