Methos (Highlander)

Methos. Oh, my dear.

He's been everywhere, done everything, killed everyone. He's old. I can so totally play with that. He can cross over into anything.

He was Death on a Horse. I'd adore him for that, if nothing else.

I don't think I actually have a OTP for him. He and Duncan are pretty together, but I really don't see that lasting. Once upon a time, Kronos mabye, though that ended... well, poorly.

Favorite gen relationship? Joe, all the way.

An unpopular opinion? I don't really know much about the HL fandom, or how it treated Methos (though, I think he was considered pretty awesome?), so I can't say. I only watched the Methos scenes of HL, though. Could that count?

I wish Methos would've kicked Duncan's ass. Not even take his head (because that would never happen in canon), but just show the impudent pup how Methos came to be the oldest. C'mon, seriously. Adam Pierson is a mediocre fighter - Methos is not.

I have so many ideas for Methos, so many different crossovers. I had an idea, once, where Eliot Spencer trained Duo Maxwell as an immortal, and Methos had been Eliot's teacher, so then when Duo and Methos met, he recognized the training, decided to adopt the kid, and then helped him win the war. Yeah. It would've been epic, and way too much trouble to write.

Loki! I have a soft spot for tricksters, and I'm somewhat familiar with Norse mythology, but I know almost zilch about comicverse canon, so.

I also like wolves. And snakes. And horses. So, Loki was pretty much my favorite before watching the movie, and then I watched it! He's the little brother forever overshadowed, and he wants Daddy's approval, and he's never fitted in, and his plan spiraled out of control.

Ah, Loki. *snuggles him*

I like him with Thor, most of all, I think. Or Steve.

Favorite gen relationship - Thor, again. Rad bromance and all that.

Unpopular opinion? Um. I have no idea.

Well, I wish someone could've pulled Loki aside during any one of those thousand years and told him the goddamned truth, and that it didn't matter. OR that Odin hadn't taught his sons to hate and fear the jotnar.

I was thinking of the ideas I have and got a new one! Loki falls into Gotham and is found by Alfred and taken home, to be adopted like all of Alfred's other strays. And Alfred helps him heal. *glee* That'd be so awesome, but I have no handle at all on Alfred's voice.

Kurt Hummel

Kurt is the reason I got into the show. tigris_lilsis was watching Grilled Cheesus and I heard Kurt's line about God being a dwarf on the moon. So then I watched the rest of the episode. And then season 1. And then season 2. Kurt is my absolute favorite, for his woobieness and his icyness and his sharpness.

At first, my OTP for Kurt was Puck. I knew Blaine and Karofsky were both coming in season 2, but I thought Puck was pretty awesome. And then I found Karofsky fascinating, after a little time had passed. But Blaine. My current OTP for Kurt is Blaine, all the way. They're so sweet together.

I love the Hudmels. And I have a soft spot for Karofsky and Kurt having a bromance, except, usually for me, I read that as Karofsky having a crush, so it's not actually gen.

An unpopular opinion... um. I know that he's supposed to be all fashionable in canon, but I think he looks ridiculous sometimes? I have that same problem with Project Runway.

I really want Kurt to have a solo/duet that wins a competetion. Or to get a one-up on Rachel some way.

I have made up so many stories for Kurt, oh my god. I have this one idea where dragons used to be the apex predators instead of humans, but humans began exterminating them (which worked because it takes dragons two hundred years to mature and they can only have one offspring at a time), so a few of the dragon breeds capable of shapeshifting hid themselves as humans. And now there's maybe five hundred dragons left in the world, all disguised as humans, and guess what Mama Hummel was? That's right - the last of the dynasty that once ruled all dragons. The most powerful dragons.

Oh, and guess what else? Mama Hummel had a son. And while Kurt's been dreaming about dragon history, unconciously learning his capabilities, he has no real idea of what he is. What he can do.

But the dragons need protection. They need a sanctuary before they're lost forever.

And Kurt? Is the most powerful dragon in history. He is the culmination, and he can return their former glory. And some humans wish the dragons hadn't gone extinct, but, really, what's the chance the two races could coexist?

So, yeah. I have that idea. I might turn it into something original, or it might not ever leave my head.

Neal is a pretty conman with a mysterious past and skills with a gun he professes to hate. Why wouldn't I adore him? Honestly.

Peter/Neal(/Elizabeth). C'mon. It's barely even subtext.

I really like Mozzie and Neal being BFFs. And June as a sort-of maternal influence on Neal.

I have no idea what's popular and what's not with Neal. Maybe that I don't think he really loved Kate, even if he thinks he did?

Peter/Neal(/Elizabeth) becoming canon. Doesn't everyone want that?

Hmm... maybe Methos taking in two kids who grew up to be Arthur&Neal? That might be too much like all my Frank Moses as their dad 'verses, though.

Parker! She's adorable. I guess I like her because she's broken and dangerous, but still so sweet - in her own way. And she's the best thief in the world. I have a soft spot for fictional thieves, especially the good ones.

I guess I like either Parker/Hardison or Eliot/Hardison/Parker, if she has to be with anyone.

Sophie&Parker being friends is awesome. Sophie teaching Parker how to pass for normal is adorable.

Unpopular opinion... I really don't like Eliot/Parker. Not by themselves, anyway. I'm not quite sure why. To be honest, I sometimes don't think Parker can really give consent to any relationship at all.

I haven't seen any of season 4, so I'm not sure what's happened in canon. Has Parker been given horse-riding lessons from Eliot? I'd like that.

I think a fic where Parker can shapeshift into animals would be cool.

Oh, Rachel. I liked that she was such a fighter. She was my second-favorite Animorph.

Rachel/Tobias all the way, full-stop, period, end of story.

Gen relationship... Cassie and Rachel were sweet together, BFFs, you know?

I know nothing about fandom, so I have no idea what's popular or not.

What do I wish had happened? Well, Rachel surviving would've been nice.

Most of my Animorphs ideas are about Tobias, but now that I'm thinking about it, I could do a sequel to the Tobias-makes-a-deal-for-Rachel's-resurrection fic.

I've seen maybe three Amanda episodes, so I'll go with Uhura from the reboot.



I liked Uhura from the moment she shot Jim down. And then she totally pwned Spock. What's not to like?

If Spock isn't with Jim, I like Uhura with him. (Spock, not Jim.) Or a threesome between all three. I also like Uhura/Gaila.

I think Uhura is kickass awesome, and pretty much the only character who did everything right. *shrugs* I don't think that's an unpopular opinion, though.

I wish Uhura could've met Amanda Grayson. I've read some awesome fics where that happens.

I actually haven't had many (if at all) ideas for Uhura. I like her well enough, but Bones is by far my favorite. Then Jim&Spock. But I guess... I have no idea. I can't think of anything right now. Sorry.

Lindsey! *hee* He's shady with morals and wants what he's earned. I don't think he was ever actually afraid of Angel, which is awesome. Plus, I rewatched Angel the Series for him after seeing Eliot in Leverage.

I really wish Lindsey had gotten control of Wolfram and Hart. Or, simply, not been killed. That was stupid and shortsighted.

I've had a few Eliot&Lindsey as twins ideas, or Lindsey became Eliot. And then there's the Darla turned Lindsey, or Lindsey tricked himself out of Hell, or Angelus went after Lindsey. Alos, there's the Dean/Lindsey fic I started about four years I never finished. So, yeah.

I very much like reading Eliot & Lindsey as twins, or lookalikes (like in the "Face Value" series by elebridith), or the Lindsey becomes Eliot stories. And crossovers with Supernatural are also awesome. *grins*

I agree too that there should've been more Lindsey in Angel (though I haven't yet watched Angel beyond the first season's first episode, so I have some to watch *lol*). He should've lived *sigh*
