Date: 2011-11-25 05:42 pm (UTC)His pool cleaning business was booming and he’d been having fun with cougars for two years when he decided he was totally straight and refused to look at guys like that ever again.

Date: 2011-11-26 01:30 am (UTC)There are things older than ‘wolves, and more dangerous than vampires. I could pull the air from your bodies, call the water from your molecules, burn you by light of the sun or dark of the moon, it doesn’t matter, either or both. I could sing to the earth and have you swallowed whole, and no one would know to miss you. I could sacrifice you to gods whose names you’ll never know. I am older than this country, than any country in the world. I am older than this planet, and I was here before it had a name. I am the most dangerous being you will ever meet, and I have let you live because you are children and I am… not.

I think I heard my brain break.

Date: 2011-11-26 01:33 am (UTC)Here's a sentence from one of the parts I'm working on now:
She is Kurt’s mother, and she’s dead, but she’s standing there, smirking, and she says, “He’s a gifted child, our son. Your eyes and your heart, but ice in his veins.”

Date: 2011-11-26 01:36 am (UTC)X-Men/White Collar. I wrote a drabble where I imply that Erik Lensherr had a hand in raising Neal Caffrey. After a few people pointed the awesomeness potential there, I decided it might be fun to revisit that.
All I have at the moment is this:
He found the boy after the third time he left Charles. It’d been a little over forty years since Hell, twenty since the ocean, and he felt unaccountably old.

Date: 2011-11-26 01:40 am (UTC)Alright, you get Klaine Princess Diaries. It's for a Glee movie challenge; 20,000 words of a movie-based AU by February. At the moment, I have a smidge more than 3000 of Princess Diaries done by Blaine.
Have a couple sentences:
Kurt still stared at him. “You’re the heir of Genovia?” he asked, voice faint. “Blaine, the national language is French.”
“What?” Blaine whined. “Really? Man.”

Date: 2011-11-26 01:43 am (UTC)Okay, I only have a bitty bit so I'll give it all to you:
It’s all Nessa’s fault, really. Her easy-as-pie con got all complicated when her mark’s crime boss brother got involved, and – like usual – Artie had to step in and fix things.
Except this time, fixing things got very messy and suddenly, there were a dozen bodies to dispose of.
Nessa’s story is different, of course. She tells a dozen versions, but in all of them, Artie saves her. It’s the villains that vary.

Date: 2011-11-26 04:22 pm (UTC)Rule the second, a ‘wolf or vampire can court a human. A human can’t court a ‘wolf or vampire. Addendum to rule the second, a human can say no, but only about this. ‘Wolves and vampires prefer willing mates anyway. Everyone knows that.

Date: 2011-11-27 02:10 am (UTC)And, at the moment, all I have is this:
In hindsight, Blaine sees a lot of things he could’ve done differently. With all the myths, all the misunderstood fears about chiropterans… a few words here or there, back at the beginning, and so much could’ve been stopped.
