Date: 2009-05-11 03:06 pm (UTC)He finds the book and he reads it and he clenches his fists tight enough that his bones creak.
"Ruby," he says.
She appears within in minutes, always at his beck and call anymore. He'd thought it was to watch his back since he was alone, when he considered the state of things at all.
Sam glances up at her through his bangs, fingers itching to strangle her. Unfortunately, that would just hurt the body, not her.
"Yeah, Sam?" she asks, all wide-eyed and eager to please.
He can't believe the act worked before. Now that he knows, he sees everything.
"You lied to me," he says softly, eyes on the page, rereading the words. "You lied to me and let Dean go to Hell."
"No, Sam," she denies, stepping back as he raises his head, rises to his feet. "Sam, listen, I can explain."
He focuses on the little spot of darkness in his soul. He knows it's always been there, waiting for the right moment.
When Dean was alive, there were no right moments. After the trickster killed him, Sam was too wrapped up in finding the bastard.
But now--now, the time is right.
"Shut up," he says, reaching with all the anger and fear and despair and hate he's ever felt.
Dean's in Hell. Ruby could have saved him, could have told Sam how to save him, but she kept the knowledge to herself.
But he knows now. He knows. And after she dies in agony, he'll rip open the gate and get his brother out.

Date: 2009-05-11 05:27 pm (UTC)Humans. If Father were capable of a mistake, those creations would be it. But Father is perfect. Therefore, humans must be perfect.
Uriel sneers as Dean Winchester spins to face him. This mudmonkey, Castiel's new favorite--it is the worst smear of all. Dean Winchester is not the answer to any problem, especially one he caused by being weak.
"Ah, dickless," Dean says, standing up to his full height. "What can I do for ya this fine evenin'?"
Uriel longs to smite him from existence, to return him to the dust from which his ancestor came. But Father has a plan, even if Uriel cannot see it. Cannot fathom it.
(Lucifer was right, wasn't he, all those eons ago. No angel should bow to a human.)
"Rest, Dean," Uriel commands. Mudmonkeys are nothing compared to an angel, and Dean is asleep instantly.
This human, the instigator of the endtimes--Uriel could thank him for opening the first lock to Lucifer(Sammael, he was called before, Sammael the MorningStar, so beautiful, so proud, pure in a way no other of Father's creations has ever been). Uriel should thank him, but he chokes on the thought.
Dean is temptation, a weakness Uriel cannot afford to let Castiel have. Castiel is necessary to the plan--he is Uriel's brother. Just as Dean is Castiel's favorite, so is Castiel Uriel's.
"Rest, Dean," Uriel repeats. "Rest and remember Alistair."

Date: 2009-05-11 05:58 pm (UTC)Castiel begs so beautifully. Alistair slices and dices him, heals him, fucks him with knives and whips and finally his own cock, with no lube but what the pretty little angel bleeds out.
Not quite as fun as Dean'd been, before Castiel plucked his pet from Hell, but still--Alistair purrs, sighs, sinks into his lust-tarnished brother again.

Date: 2009-05-11 06:26 pm (UTC)Azazel's stolen head flies up, his stolen eyes widen, and he throws himself backwards with his stolen body, muttering, "That's impossible."
Mary(not Mom, not yet) glances at Dean, John(Dad? Daddy's dead again) still prone across her lap.
Dean stalks forward, letting the monster within, the monster nourished in Hell by Alistair's attention, have full rein.
Hell is for burning, for branding, for breaking. For reforging. Hell doesn't create the beast--Hell refines it.
"I'm done with you," Dean hisses, catching Azazel and hoisting him into the air. "I killed you before--I'll do better now."
"No," Azazel repeats desperately, contorting Dean's grandfather's face into an expression it'd probably never worn before. "That's impossible. You're a human!"
Dean smirks, something that made Alistair flinch back that final morning, moments before Castiel pulled him out. "I was," he says. "And it's your fault I'm not anymore."
(He'll have fun; he's the master here. He'll have fun and then reset everything, because if Mama doesn't make that deal, then Sammy will never be. And that's something Dean just can't allow.)

Date: 2009-05-11 08:16 pm (UTC)When Jake gets to Hell, he thinks about Mom and Dakota and Connie. His family. The people she killed, trying to raise some devil inside him.
When Jake gets to Hell, he sits on the throne and he wears the crown and he clenches the scepter tight in his hands, until his fingers bleed around it.
When Jake gets to Hell, he commands, "Break her into pieces."
When Jake gets to Hell, he is no longer the devil's son; he is Lucifer reborn, and Lucifer has no mother.

Date: 2009-05-11 03:04 am (UTC)So here's my idea: one of the Leverage team gets wronged, by someone who thinks they're completely safe from retribution because they know the limitations of their victim's skill set.
However, they are not aware that person is no longer solo but has a team with equally developed and varied skill sets.
Enter Leverage-style vengeance, only this time, it's personal!
