So, caffienekitty had this meme thing where you get assigned three fandoms to answer questions about.  For me, she picked "Supernatural", "Heroes", and Star Trek.



"Supernatural"

1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?

 

I watched the pilot, had a nightmare, and wrote the show off as not worth it. I’d never seen the boys in anything memorable enough to recall, and yeah, they were pretty—but that nightmare was frickin’ scary, yo.

 

Then I saw the promo for “Home” and decided to give it another try. I’ve watched every episode live since.

2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

 

Um. I’ve been here for almost five years now. I’ve never been continuous about writing/reading like this before, so I dunno.

3. Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?

 

Favorite episodes? Hmm. At the moment, I think “Yellow Fever.”

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

 

I write and read. Less recently, but still. “Supernatural” fanfiction makes up most of my literary works, LJ memories, and fanfiction.net favorites.

5. Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

 

I think everyone ever should watch the show. Does that count?

 

 

 "Heroes"

1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?

I was bored, out of school for the summer, with no job. I had a car and a library card, so I checked season one out and watched in pretty much a single sitting. Then, tigris_lilsis got both seasons for her birthday, so I watched season two just for kicks and realized how completely awesome Sylar is. So now I’m watching season three on the internet.

 

2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

 

I’m not really in it. I’ve written a few fics, and I browse the archives of various comminutes, but that’s it.

3. Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?

 

It’s a tie between the finales of seasons one and two.

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

I’ve written a handful of fics.

 

5. Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

 

Um. I have no comment regarding the matter.

 

 Star Trek

1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?

 

I saw Star Trek reboot with my mom because she’s been a fan forever. Then I saw it again. And again. And again. And one more time.

 

2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

 

I’ve been reading Star Trek fic nonstop for a month.

3. Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?

 

Well, of the old movies(which I’ve now seen the first eight of) my favorites are a tie between the whale one and the god one. But resoundingly, the reboot.

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

 

Does nonstop reading for a month count? And I’ve written a smidge of fic myself.

5. Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

 

Yes! Everyone ever.
