Apocalypse

It’ll be fire. Yup.

I spend an inordinate amount of time wondering about how the world will end. *shrugs* I also write about it a lot. I hope it’ll be long after I am dust, safe in what comes next with those I love, but honestly? The way our society is going now, I wouldn’t be all that surprised if it were tomorrow.

Ben (X5-493)

Ben! Oh, my dear darling Ben. The first episode of “Dark Angel” I ever watched was Ben’s episode, and only because of “Supernatural” and Jensen Ackles.

Holy shit, did I fall in love. Ben is beautiful and broken and trying his best but completely fucking up, and he should have killed Max, rescued his twin from Manticore, and gone on adventures, sacrificing people to his Blue Lady along the way.

Ben is my favorite Jensen Ackles character. *snuggles him*

Wolves

For a very long time, wolves were my favorite animal. I collected books about them, postcards with their images, articles about them. They’re so cool, with their howling and their family units and gorgeousness. I still want to pet one, but tigers and penguins are tied as my favorite right now.

Zachary Quinto

My sister got “Heroes” season 1 awhile back. I watched it last summer and the only actor I recognized from the main cast was Milo what’s-his-name because of how much I loathed him on “Gilmore Girls”. Sylar became one of my favorite characters, but I didn’t really notice his actor that much.

Then I saw Star Trek.

Now, my little sister also received “Heroes” season 2, so after being completely enthralled with Spock in the reboot, I watched it. And Sylar? Is awesome.

So, of course, I started tracking down what Zachary Quinto has been in. Unfortunately, it’s usually one episode here and there of various shows, which are almost impossible to find. I did discover, however, that I’d seen him before “Heroes”—in “Lizzie Maguire” and “Charmed”. *hee* Who knew.

Anyway, my absolute favorite Zachary Quinto moment? In Star Trek. At the Vulcan Science Academy. When he says Live long and prosper but conveys fuck off and die. Even on the ninth time, it is just amazing.

Misha Collins

He’s adorable. *shrugs* I’ve sought out some other stuff he’s been in; my favorite is “CSI: New York”.

After Dean/Sam, my favorite pairing for “Supernatural” is Dean/Castiel, and I think he’s done the best of all his characters as Castiel.

I also saw him on “Charmed” long before I knew who he was; I tried rewatching the episode and just couldn’t. *snickers* He’s much better now.

Think how much fun NotMegSam and “Parasite”-era Sylar could’ve had on a killing spree together. *glee*
If Sylar’s so smart, how come he didn’t hide the bodies of his victims? Or wait until after Mohinder had interviewed Dale Smither and then gone back for her before they left town? He could’ve gotten so many more powers that way.
My spn_summergen fic is done and emailed in! Now I can focus on my reel_startrek fic.
I like Zachary Quinto/Chris Pine fic as much as the next girl, but where are all the Karl Urban fics with either(or both) of the above?
*hee* In my reel_startrek fic, Dean’s power is intuitive aptitude. Also, I’m pretty sure the main romantic relationship(if the story ever progresses that far) is Jim/Bones/Spock. Can you guess what their powers are?
If Matt Parkman Jr. ever came into contact with Sylar, could he return all the season one powers Sylar lost?
Why did Sylar leave Luke and Micah alive? And where’re all the fics concerning that attitude change?

So, you know how Sylar likes to collect stray socio/psychopaths? (Okay, one does not a collection make. Go with me, yeah?) What if he comes across Anton Yelchin's character from "Criminal Minds"?

No, I'm not writing this. Really. Something similar, but not this.

Also also, I saw Star Trek for the fourth time yesterday. It's such a good movie.

Also cubed, I worked my first for-real shift at my job on Wednesday and my second will be next Tuesday. The first shift was only five hours; the second will be eight hours. Despite a few mishaps(like burning my arm on the popcorn warmer and spilling a LARGE coke across the counter) it wasn't that bad.

Also to the power of four, I LOVE ICONS. They are fun. I'm an icon collector now. And since I'll soon have my own income, I can get a paid account on my own and keep collecting!

Also to the fifth, Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine are my new boys. Sylar is just wicked and Chris plays a pretty good blind guy. (Everyone should watch Blind Dating. *snuggles Danny*)

Also to the sixth, I got an idea for a fic where Spock is descended from Sylar. Through some mishap, Kirk travels back to the past, where Sylar is in the midst of harvesting the powers of the last few heroes(he's already gotten rid of everyone else). For some reason he can't fathom, Kirk pricks Sylar's interest and he doesn't kill the captain. He actually decides to bring Kirk back to his own time, where Spock recognizes who he is instantly. (Stories are told in his mother's family, legends and folktales, but Spock had thought them only myths.) Mind-to-mind, Sylar tells Spock to take better care of his captain, because Sylar could've have kept him. Sylar gets ready to return home(gotta keep the timeline in check, after all, and start making babies since he has descendants) but when he goes to bend time, he can't move. He meets Spock's eyes and hears(all the way across the room, without being touched) The captain is mine. Then he's tossed back into the present. Powers, you see(even ones stolen) travel through the blood.

Also to the seventh(the second best number, yo!), I started that "Supernatural"/"Heroes"/"CSI: Miami" fic, but it stalled on me. And I haven't reread my Spock drabble. And I wrote a possessive!jealous!Sam drabble in my evil!serialkillers!Winchester 'verse, crossed with "CSI: Miami", but I haven't bothered to type it up. Or my crazy!Sam fic, or the Cheaper by the Dozen bully fic. *shrugs*

I watched the entirety of "Heroes" season two yesterday(and very early this morning). It's good when you have the whole thing there and can just switch out the disks, but live, with a week between episodes? I'd lose interest so quickly.

When do the season three DVDs come out?

I think my favorite is Hiro. Or Micah. I even like Peter, and his actor was the reason I resisted giving "Heroes" a try for so long. (You know how much I hate Max? ThievingJess is a close second.)
