- I want an icon of a fruit and the words let me praise men for eating the apple  *shrugs*  Would that even fit?

- The kitten is not, in fact, feral.  He has clearly been handled before and is just a sweetie. Mom took him to the vet this morning; he has worms and fleas, and is underweight, but otherwise healthy.

- Edgar Allen Poe was nucking futs.

- I have fifteen days to finish some part of the reel_startrekfic.

- I want to rewatch the Priestly/Jen scenes of Ten Inch Hero and write fic.

- You know what I wish sometimes?  That I loved math as much as my mom and little sister.  I think it might be easier if I just clicked with numbers the way I do with words.

If he had to, but it would grievously screw him up, if not kill him, because (to my limited knowledge) it would involve extending his power (and concomitantly, his awareness) globally and convincing thousands of distributed nodes and mainframes to switch off.

Keeping it off would be even harder, given all the failsafes and backup systems at each node, as well as people trying to get things back online.

Alternatively, he could channel a shitload of data into the net (upload his consciousness, send random thoughts and memories to everyone on the planet? Not sure on that option) and make it unusable that way. Also, a problem that would require turning of the internet would be apocalyptically huge. Given how much of the world's commercial, military and personal communication is now handled by the 'net, shutting it down would cause unimaginable mayhem.

Interesting thought-problem, again. :-)

*hee* I hadn't put that much thought into it; I just got this image of Micah by Sylar's side, as Sylar takes the White House, and he gives Micah the order, all the world's computers die. *shrugs*

YAY for rescuing kittens! My two "kids" are rescues and they've been pestering me for attention for ten years now :)

Hahaha I think I feel in love with Poe in the seventh grade when we read "Tell-Tale Heart" :oD ... and the Raven is definitely one of my favorite poems period. Maybe my love has something to do with the fact that my dad loves him too and used to read his poems to me when I was like 6 lol

Damn now I wish I had a raven icon!

Actually, I checked the community--we have until October 16, so a month! I added a scene and a half to my story, though, so yay!
