More notes: considering the fact that the movies totally messed up the process of succession, I’m pretty sure it’s okay that I may have messed up the process of annulling a marriage. Also, I could not find any info about a zoo in Lima; therefore, I made one up. And Blaine and his dad moved to Lima when Blaine transferred. Because they’re rich. a) You know what I just got a craving for? Some good old-fashioned overprotective big brother Dean Winchester fics. How odd is that? I kinda wanna rewatch seasons 1&2 now.

b) Remember that job I got fired from last year? Yeah, I'll be going back, in a different section, doing something different, the week after next. If all goes well, I'll be there till the end of June/start of July.

c) Last week (on Mardi Gras!) the temp agency I signed on with sent me to a call center. The four days I was there, I hated it more than the movie theater/department store combined. I actually called

tigremerein tears. It was bad.

d) I've been working on the Highlander/Avengers movieverse crossover ( 'a taste of lightning' ) recently. It's at ff.net and Ao3 at the moment. I'm really not sure when I'll move it here. Anyway, the research I've conducted into Norse mythology has made me like Loki even more. Fuck, but he and his kids got a raw deal. The Norse gods were a bunch of douchebags.

e) I'm waiting to recieve the final go-ahead on the Klaine Princess Diaries fic from the beta. Then I've got to figure out how to put navigation bars and the header into it in HTML. It's the longest thing I've ever set out to write, and I really do love it.

f) What kind of jobs involve mythology?

g) I'm twenty-four now.

So, there's this short story contest I'd like to enter. It's for original work, no more than 2500 words long. I've narrowed the options down to four, but I can't decide between them.

Anyone up to reading them over for me and telling me which is the best?

One fantasy, two rewritings of Cinderella, one realistic with an amnesiac killer. None of them are over 2000 words long.

So, I'm halfway through typing the sixth part and I HAVE MORE THAN 20000 WORDS!! I've made the minimum! And I'm thinking there will be one more part, two more interludes, and an epilogue, since the dinner/ball keeps moving itself backward.

21000 words! This is the longest thing I've ever set out to write, since all the rest sort of just decided to be long somewhere along the way.

Is anyone else getting slammed by spambots in LJ comments? Like, I can't think of what else they might be. The only person they've got friended is themselves, and I got six different LJs leaving me one comment apiece, on six different entries in my LJ. I'm not sure what language it is, either.

And this after weeks of leaving me comments at the different comm entries where I posted links back to the fics.

Where are all the fics? I want some!

Also! The other day, I found a fic for This Means War, but I hadn't seen the movie, so I figured I'd go back after watching, and now that I'm looking? Can't find it.
